About the Item

Freestanding bookcase designed by Alain Delon Elegant floor shelf with rectangular base made of black lacquered wood, and brass details. Equipped with 11 smoked glass shelves divided into 3 columns of which the central one is wider. Designed in the 1980s by French actor Alain Delon. Alain Delon was' one of the greatest sex symbols of his time, in the early 1970s he joined his acting career with that of a designer. In 1975 he was at the Salone del Mobile in Milan with his line of furniture produced by Vittorio Sabot. The actor declared that if he had not been an actor he would have wanted to be an architect. The bookcase is in excellent state of preservation, has no structural defects but has slight signs of time visible from photos.
