About the Item

A Regal pair of Louis XV style French ormolu-mounted marble top Bibliotheques with rosewood, Kingwood, Tulipwood, and mahogany veneers. These elegant French bookcases showcase the refined craftsmanship of the Ebénistes work with the use of rich veneers in Herringbone, Crossbanding, and bookmatched patterns. The Louis XV style Cabinets have rouge marble tops above three adjustable shelves having hand-tooled scalloped leather dust ribbon and finished with scalloped shaped frieze framed by cabriole legs with bronze-mounted sabots.
