About the Item

Italian mid-century modern bookcase in wood, brass and black metal, 1960s Modular floor-to-ceiling bookcase in black painted metal and dark wood with black profiles. It is composed of eleven rectangular shelves, a larger shelf, which can be used as a desk, a bar compartment with a flap opening and two compartments with a double door and a hinged opening. All three modules have a shaped internal glass shelf. The two compartments with a hinged door have round section brass spacers. Two brass keys present. The four square section uprights in black painted metal have round brass tips, which can be extended. All modules are positionable as desired. Finished back, so it can be used as a room divider. 1960s. Good condition. Wood has light marks and metal has scattered color. Restored.
