A very good looking and well made pair of solid open library bookcases. They offer huge amounts of storage space and work well in any setting. Each bookcase has a lockable cupboard base as mentioned, ideal if the new owner would like to use them for drinks in the bottom and glasses in the top as apposed to in a library
In terms of the condition, we have cleaned waxed and polished them from top to bottom, I can't see any real issues in terms of the condition, there may be some light age and use related patina marks here and there
