French Cherry Buffet
About the Item
The top of this buffet has had shrinkage cracks which have been professionally restored. It has five inch wide breadboard ends. The inside has one removable shelf. There is exposed double peg construction in both the doors and the case. The steel hardware is all original and the working lock has a key. The center panel has three carved flutes. The lower apron is shaped with a stylized carved fan in the center. The top hinge of the right hand door has had a crack repaired at some time. There is a shrinkage gap betweeen the tops of the doors and the case.
