An Italian ornately painted wood console chest with faux-marble top from the 19th century. This antique buffet from Italy features a shapely front with bowed mid section flanked within curvy recessed sides, with a slightly overhanging top which mimics the shape beneath. The case houses two doors at front, which opens to reveal a shelf for storage within. The cabinet is painted and trimmed with four panels, each featuring rococo style accents along their inner framed portions, and center panels have a male figure and female figure, each within their own panel and seated with umbrella raised above their head. A scrolling acanthus leaf and foliage motif are painted to adorn the skirting. This piece is raised nicely upon bracketed feet. The primary coloring of the cabinet is teal and tan. A French neoclassical style carved and painted wood buffet cabinet from the early 20th century. This antique cabinet from France features a rectangular-shaped top top, with pronounced rounded corners, which rests atop a neoclassical style case which houses three drawers set horizontally above a pair of doors, flanked within rounded and fluted side posts (whose carving is repeated down the rear side posts). This server is nicely raised upon rounded and flute-carved legs, which taper gently and terminate into petite metal feet.
