A sensational English 19th century Neo Classical st. rosewood, satinwood, giltwood, ormolu and Black Antico marble, Deux Corps buffet. The buffet is raised by handsome giltwood paw feet below the four doors which each retain their original fitted glass panes with elegant pleated silk curtains. A handsome and sizable solid oak buffet a’ deux corps with Provincial charm from 19th century France. This four door case antique is split into two bodies: a larger lower body and a smaller upper body. The upper is crowned with an molded cornice above impeccable carvings depicting draped fabric and hanging tassels. The upper doors are wonderfully molded and conceal a single cavity with two removable shelves. The lower paneled doors open to reveal a space with a single removable shelf.
