19th century French Confiturier jam cabinet carved oak renaissance wine bar ~Direct from France~ ~Highly carved antique French “confiturier” or jam cabinet~ ~These cabinets are one of your most requested antiques, as they have so many uses in today’s home! From a vanity in the bath, to the kitchen, the foyer with a mirror above, just imagine the possibilities!~ ~Large frieze contains wide drawer front with raised carvings, flanked by dimensional lion masks having brass rings~ ~Door features carved beveled edges around a raised beveled geometric designs with dimensional carved fruit center~ ~Unique carved figural women with musical instruments flank the door, with Black Forest style dimensional fruits and foliage~ ~Quality throughout, solid, heavy and strong, well built by craftsmen of the period~ ~c1880~ Measurements 42.5” height x 35” x 19.5”. Interior, approx. 26.5” height x 27.25” x 14”. Beveled top, 35” x 18.5”. Note: All of our antiques are direct from Europe.
