About the Item

A fabulous Georgian five piece breakfront with molded cornice surmounting three separate upper cases with four glass fretwork doors, opening to two adjustable shelves in each section, with satin textile backing, over a single base, with a center slide out butler’s desk in the top drawer with compartmentalized interior, over three long drawers with round punched brass foliate ring pulls, flanked by a deep drawer on each side above doors, opening to single shelf storage, all supported by nicely carved French feet. The drawer fronts are decorated with bookmatched veneers and delicate arrow inlay. The breakfront dates to the 19th century and is in very good overall condition, with minor surface losses, imperfections, and light wear commensurate with age and use. Includes four locking keys.
