About the Item

E.A. Taylor made by Wylie and Lochhead. An Arts & Crafts mahogany display cabinet or sideboard, with upper open shelf and gallery with capped uprights to the sides, a central upper cupboard Voysey style green glass tree details, flanked by open display areas with pierced hearts below in each corner and a central original beveled mirror and a work area below. A fully glazed display cabinet below with original velvet velour interior and an open display area to the base with central uprights united by cross support above and a sweeping under tier to the front and side, stood on ring turned feet. The handles with hand-hammered stylized floral heads with seeds below and retaining the original key.
