About the Item

A fine French 19th century serpentine inlaid display or storage cabinet of neat proportions, cross banded and ormolu mounted throughout and with lovely patinated timbers comprising of kingwood and fruitwood. The shaped Rosso Levante marble top raised over upper section with single glazed serpentine shaped glass panelled door flanked with two further glass panels to the sides, displaying the red velvet lined shelved interior. The lower section with three drawers, decorative escutcheons and swan neck handles raised over shaped apron terminating on slender tapering leg with finely cast sabots.
