Gigi Radice for Studio Gino Colombo, custom made wall unit, walnut, seagrass, Italy, 1950s.
Impressive custom-made large cabinet designed by Italian designer Gigi Radice in the 1950s. Equipped with 28 doors, this sizeable cabinet offers plenty of storage space and will stand out in every interior. These cabinet doors are furnished with seagrass, giving a special touch to this unique piece of furniture. A round walnut wooden handle is placed in the middle of every door panel. Its frame is executed in walnut and combines beautifully with the soft light color of the door panels. In the lower middle section, a horizontal space is left open to exhibit special objects.
Please note that this piece is in good, used condition and could use some small superficial touch ups. Restoration can be done before shipping by our experienced craftsmen and -women in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece contains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized restoration is possible as well.
