Giuseppe Rivadossi Stunning wood Bar Cabinet - Italian Design 1970s

About the Item

This is a unique, material, impressive and extremely decorative bar cabinet. The wood, reminiscent of the mountains, is hand-finished and the chisel grooves can be seen distinctly enriching the outline. The glass windows with the two doors, in the upper and lower modules, provide access to the interior where the glass shelves are supported by large wood dowels with a mechanism as solid as it is linked to the tradition of master craftsmen. Each shelf has a unique dimension, specially designed to be placed at its specific level. The entire structure thus has an aesthetic that is at once imposing, stable, and impossible to ignore, but is at the same time lightened by the great use of glass. A masterful work by Rivadossi, created for a private home and then later used as a model for different lines with a design more suitable for serial production.
