Very rare Japanese Shibayama cabinet with multiple leaves, drawers and sliding panels. Indeed, the quality of sculpture, the variety of materials (ivory, mother-of-pearl, but also brown horn and coral), the backgrounds of the panels finely executed in gold maki-e as well as the shape itself of this cabinet makes it an exceptional piece of furniture.
