Large Japanese Cloisonné Enamel Dish, Japan Meiji period

About the Item

Bronze and cloisonné enamel dish very finely decorated with an egret in flight above various flowers on a background of copper inclusions and gold powder. The wing decorated in particular with phoenixes and butterflies in flight on a background of scrollwork. Note that this dish is much more beautiful in reality, the metallic powders not being as sparkling in the photos (video can be sent on request) Japan, late 19th century.
