Original Painted Swedish Cabinet Console, circa 1820-40
About the Item
The attractive soft color pallet of this Swedish pine cabinet or console comes from the original hand-painted finish which has been gently scraped and softly distressed through generations of use, resulting in the warm aged patina with the original cream/taupe revealing a reddish undertone. Specks of white also seen.
The fluted panel doors have original hinges and simple internal latch system reflect the Swedish country style of this lovely cabinet.
Restored; it is strong, stable, and ready to be used and enjoyed. Lock functions with one key included.
Scratches, old stains, cracks, dings and age related separation are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this special sideboard with original painted finish.
Please refer to professional photos for clear understanding of color, condition, and details; photo lighting, individual monitor display and home lighting all impact how item is viewed. Photos are part of item description, please ask questions or request additional photos of specific areas if needed.
