Pair Italian, Veneto, Turned Walnut Shallow Glass Front Bookcases, mid 19th cen.
About the Item
tall and shallow these impressive cabinets are of two piece construction, each with turned columns on upper and lower sections, the tops with glass fronts, the bottoms one with two drawers the other with faux drawers, both sections with interior shelving with the top shelves replaced, the upper shelves now covered in yellow fabric (see last photo), raised on compressed bun feet
