We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely pair of original Irish guard’s hat tins nicely detailed and patinated throughout Please note the delivery fee listed is just a guide, it covers within the M25 only A very decorative and highly desirable pair of collectable world war II hat tins for the Irish Guards. Both tins and been through the wars (literally) and have lots of signs of wear and tear, the full details and a condition of each is as follows He was a Major and at one point a temporary lieutenant colonel which is a high rank indeed Second tin:-Hand painted and very faded Irish Guards and Major A M Stopford, then with the same shield stamp “Edward Smith 139 Ebury Street Eaton Sq London SW” there’s also remnants of an old transport label If these tins could tell their story it would no doubt be an amazing one, the condition of both is as mentioned quite battered, they are for display now and are exceptionally collectable Dimensions (Gimson): Height 61cm Width 35cm Depth 35cm Dimensions (Stopford): Height 62cm Width 33cm Depth 33cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point Please note the delivery fee listed is just a guide This item is available for collection from our Wimbledon warehouses SW19-3BE.
