18th Century Mahogany George II Chest of Drawers

About the Item

Handcrafted in the 18th Century, this newly restored George II chest-on-chest is mahogany. The top portion consists of two small drawers atop three full-length drawers, while the bottom portion has three full-length drawers. Each drawer is equipped with brass bail pulls. Of note are the fine woodwork and the well-aged mahogany with its warm, rich red-brown tone. An elegant cornice tops the chest, while bracket feet support the bottom. Inlay floral decor adorns the beveled side edges of the top chest. With its classic craftsmanship and full functioning drawers, this chest-on-chest makes for a timeless, elegant storage unit in your home. Dimensions: 40.5 in. width 21 in. depth 71 in. height 36 in. top chest height 35 in. bottom chest height Condition notes: In good, sound condition with general wear that's consistent with the chest's age and use, including surface scuffs, light scratches, and natural age splitting to wood.
