About the Item

Mortise and tenon construction. Sturdy and stable. Dovetailed drawers. Simple metal ring-pulls and escutcheons. Scraped back to earlier layers of paint. Traces of original gesso and painted finish, and faint remnants of early and later paint. Pulls and hardware not original.
