About the Item
This is a 19th century English faux bamboo carved and painted faux bamboo chest. It is both stained and painted. It has the original turned feet and knobs. The drawers are dovetailed. There is age appropriate wear through the piece. The locks do not work, and on some, the mechanism is missing. A very charming piece!
