About the Item
This gray chest of drawers has the simple, clean lines that reveal its Swedish country style.
The canted fluted side details and gently tapered feet were traditional style elements of the era.
Restored, later painted finish in layers of gray and antique white tones. There is distress fitting the age of this dresser. See close up photos of top to understand the layered, distressed finish with stains, scratches, cracks, etc.
Three drawers function with two brass pulls on each drawer.
All scratches, cracks, dings, and age related separation are reflective of age and do not detract from the function of this Swedish chest of drawers.
Please refer to professional photos for clear understanding of color, condition, and details; photo lighting, individual monitor display and home lighting all impact how item is viewed. Photos are part of item description, please ask questions or request additional photos of specific areas if needed.

View AllAntique Gray Painted Oak Chest of 3 Drawers from France
Located in Round Top, TX
The soft gray paint adds a romantic touch to this serpentine oak chest of drawers. While the paint was added later, the carved panel drawers, curved front, cabriolet feet and scalloped skirt are gently distressed adding to the vintage feel of the dresser. Expected age-related separation of wood is seen in the top and drawers, but does not impact the strength nor functionality of the dresser. The three long drawers all function and each have 2 (newer) pulls but due to age not all close flush to the frame. This lovely large French chest of drawers...
