French Oak Large Chest of Three Drawers Painted Gray, circa 1820-1840

About the Item

Large chest of three drawers with carved panels from France, circa 1820-1840. The newer, professionally applied soft gray painted finish (with blue and white undertones) adds a touch of life and interest to this heavy oak chest. The carved panel drawers, fluted tapered feet and fluted side accents are gently distressed adding to the vintage feel of the dresser. Expected age-related separation of wood is visible in the drawers and back, but does not impact the strength nor functionality of the dresser. The three long drawers all function and each have 2 brass pulls for ease of use. This lovely large French chest of drawers is restored, solid, stable and ready to use and enjoy. Any scratches, cracks, dings, nicks, missing pieces or other imperfections (see drawer edges/corners etc) are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this impressive large oak chest of drawers. Please refer to professional photos for clear understanding of color, condition and details; photo lighting, individual monitor display and home lighting may all impact how item is viewed.
