Blue Painted Chest of Three Drawers, Denmark circa 1840

About the Item

Antique pine chest of three drawers, with carved fluted side columns and delicate carved accents along top all resting on tapered feet. The professionally applied newer blue layered painted finish adds new life to this pine dresser and is slightly distressed to fit the age and grace of the chest. Restored, strong and functional, this is ready to be used and enjoyed. Drawers function with use of two brass pulls on each. Any scratches, cracks, dings, or age related separation are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this lovely piece. Please refer to professional photos for clear understanding of color, condition and details; photo lighting, individual monitor display and home lighting may all impact how item is viewed. The newer, professionally applied soft gray painted finish (with blue and white undertones) adds a touch of life and interest to this heavy oak chest. The carved panel drawers, fluted tapered feet and fluted side accents are gently distressed adding to the vintage feel of the dresser. Expected age-related separation of wood is visible in the drawers and back, but does not impact the strength nor functionality of the dresser. The three long drawers all function and each have 2 brass pulls for ease of use. This lovely large French chest of drawers...
