About the Item
Antique Country French Painted Commode ~ Chest of Drawers features subtle styling and a beautiful patinaed painted finish that is perfect for today's casual decors. The top has been whitewashed and sealed for a contrasting effect, while the main body features a fully painted facade. Three spacious drawers provide ample storage, with each decorated with tailored trim molding encircling the drawer, with scrollwork embellishments calling attention to the key guards at each center. Brass knobs provide easy access. The tailored design continues with the subtly scrolled apron and legs, with molded corners and panels on each side. Even the interiors of the drawers have been painted for a great all-around finished effect. Ideal for a sophisticated yet sedate look.
