Antique Gustation Style Hand Carved Painted Grey/ Green Chests
About the Item
Antique Gustavian-style hand-carved and painted chests in a lovely soft gray and green coloring with oxidized gold accents. The chests are the perfect low height to use as nightstands or as accent pieces in a foyer or living room. They have two drawers with no visible pulls. Instead, the drawers are highly decorative with gilt escutcheons, and rosette, foliate, and grapevine designs. The sides are equally as decorative with a panel surrounded by four gilt rosettes. The top of the cabinets is bordered with gilt beading. These remarkable hand-crafted pieces will surely be the focal point of any room.
