Antique Scottish or English Campaign Butler's Desk Chest of Drawers
About the Item
An elegant and functional antique Scottish or English campaign style butler's desk chest of drawer. Crafted out of teak or sycamore (exterior) and elm (interior) with original brass hardware. The top drawer pulls out and folds down to reveal a beautiful writing desk! The new green leather writing surface insert adds a classic touch. Four cubbies in the desk portion for paperwork storage. Scratches in the wood overall from age and use, more photos available upon request. Campaign drawer pulls stamped Glasgow. Extremely sturdy piece. Drawers function well. Ready for another 100+ years of use and enjoyment!
Condition commensurate with age and use. Random scratches and dinks overall, particularly on the top and drawer fronts, see photos. Interior leather writing surface has been replaced with new dark green leather. Campaign style hardware is original.
