About the Item
A colorful and dynamic piece in the William and Mary style. Re-Created utilizing 18th and 19th century parts and later paint decoration in red with black stippling to the top and an ebonized stand. The cabinet with two short over three graduated long drawers on a reeded mount and shaped apron with a long false drawer. Raised on a stand with tall turned legs, ball feet and shaped stretchers front and sides. Brass drop-pulls and key escutcheons (Lacking key).
Condition: Please see detail photos. Various signs of age and use include nicks, a loss to the central side stretcher point on the left side facing, sporadic paint losses noticeable on the top and base as well as some chips and minor expected finish loss with the Chest presenting very well.
