About the Item
A soft and lovely Chest in Continental style with two long drawers in a Mottled Peach Tone painted finish. The drawers and sides with shaped and raised gilt details, the top drawer with a cartouche complementing the openwork skirt rail foliate and cartouche decoration. The supports with gilt acanthus leaves running into the cabriole legs. With wonderful gilt metal shall form pulls. The top in a faux pale painted marble finish.
Measures: Width. 40 1/2", Depth 18 1/4", Height. 33"
Condition: Please see all detail photos. The top worn with some expected losses and stable age cracks, chip to the molding between the drawers, overall worn surfaces however a very fine presentation.
