- Condition:Repaired: Veneers have been repaired and small spots replaced over time, the drawers have been leveled so they glide easily in and out. Replacements made: It is possible that the feet have been replaced, but it is difficult to know for sure; if they have been it was done in the late 18th or early 19th century; the hardware has been replaced,. Wear consistent with age and use. The patination is deep; this chest has never been refinished, it has been polished throughout its lifetime and glows.
