A striking, c. 1800 hand-carved, painted, and parcel gilt Venetian commode with three, sinuously paneled drawers. The whole in faux verde and Siena marbling and further embellished with gesso and 22k gold gilding. The whole above a dramatic, serpentine apron and sitting on cabriole legs.
