About the Item
This 4 drawer chest is a handmade reproduction of the French Directoire style at the end of the 18th century. This period is remarkable for its straight, classical and timeless lines. This chest of draws is painted with a French Countryside touch full of charm.
- 4 drawers with dovetails mounted fronts
- The upper drawer is fitted with 2 removable partitions inside
- The second drawer has a fake "2 drawers" front
- Inner dimensions of each drawer are width: 74 cm / 29.1" x height 12 cm / 4.7" x depth 30 cm / 11.8"
- The finish combines a blond cherrywood stain and white + pearl-grey lacquers.

MON PETIT MEUBLE FRANCAIS is a new brand launched in September 2018 by Eric Weiler (founder) and Eric Gizard (designer). We deliver 100% made in France high-end and top quality furniture pieces. Main material is wood, mainly ash, oak and cherry. Our wood comes exclusively from sustainably managed French forests. The craft-handed manufacture in the Loire Countryside and Bretagne ensures robustness and a very long life cycle for each piece. All our models are already fully assembled in our workshops. Eric Gizard is a famous French Designer in Paris and works several Fashion and Luxury Brands. He sublimates with his very fluid and elegant design each piece of our collections EGEE and KUBE. More over and previous to the launch of MON PETIT MEUBLE FRANCAIS, in 2010, Eric Weiler took over an old cabinet-maker named GONTIER established in France since 1920. French Traditional pieces and new designed models from GONTIER are also proposed on 1st Dibs.
This 4 drawer chest is also available in French Oak and all finishes are possible.
