George I Period Walnut High-boy, c. 1720
About the Item
The frame in two sections, a lower three-drawer cabinet over an exaggerated shaped apron, supported atop cabriole legs ending in pad feet. The upper section with a 3-short over 3-long arrangement of sliding drawers, all with moulded borders and brass fixtures.
The upper section designed to sit within a moulded border, resting securely on the original lower half. The top and base cabinets are original to each other.
