About the Item

A fine George III demi-lune dining room commode in figured mahogany of a good colour and patina; extensive cross-banding in tulip-wood and stringing in boxwood and ebony. The drawers lined in oak and with finely cut dove-tailed joints. Tall elegant swept feet. The handles are not original but in the correct style.
