About the Item

A characterful, Louis XV Style, Bombe Chest, circa 1940's from Italy. The piece is in its original hand-painted finish comprising of a yellow ocher main colour with a second grey/green tone used to accent the decorative acanthus leaf inspired, symmetrical carvings. The top is a lovely, polished, yellow Siena marble. The piece has a cheerful countenance and beautiful curved lines from all angles.
