Italian Mid 20th C. Credenza Cabinet w/Nicely-Paneled Details

About the Item

An Italian painted and carved wood buffet console from the mid 20th century. This vintage cabinet from Italy, just shy of 5.5 feet in length, features a rectangular-shaped top with beveled edging that overhangs the case which houses a pair of half-sized recessed-panel drawers, over a pair of decoratively paneled doors below (which open to reveal storage with four large sized cubies within). The doors are framed within a pair of rectangularly paneled side posts, and a third panel which visually divides them at center. The skirt has straight molding, and the bracket style feet offer styled interest at corners and open space from the floor at mid-section. There is a great new custom finish in a dark taupe/brown with grey accents. Note that this chest was made with older pieces. This mid-century Italian credenza cabinet is as elegant as it is versatile; a great mid-sized piece for your storage and display needs that could find purpose in many rooms throughout your home.

This chest is presented on four squared legs, which taper gently towards their feet.
