Neoclassical Chest of Drawers, early 19th Century

About the Item

Large neoclassical chest of drawers on square-pointed feet, veneer and marquetry in cherry and walnut. The body is decorated with openwork volutes with rosette decoration on the beveled corners and shows framing inlays on all sides. On the front is a medallion with urn motif, the top plate shows a turban wearer, also surrounded by a medallion. The three-drawer chest of drawers was restored and hand-polished.
