Painted French Provincial Ivory and Green circa 1920s Secretary/ Desk
About the Item
In an all-over ivory paint with a wonderful light green interior throughout this beautiful turn of the century, a French provincial secretary/desk came out of a New York City Park Avenue apartment. This lovely drop-front desk reveals four small drawers and cubby holes in the era's style. True to its french provincial origins, the top is fitted with chicken-wired doors, revealing a bevy of small drawers and cubby holes within. The cornice is decorated with swirled paint in the same green. This stylish piece has its original key and would be the central focus of any bedroom or stylish living room. Measures 87 H X 34 W X 20.5 D. Desk is 30.5 in-depth open.
