Pair, 19th Century Swedish Gustavian Black Chest of Drawers

About the Item

A pair of elegant Gustavian pine chest of drawers with brass pulls on each drawer. Three drawers, upper drawer decorated with painted Greek key motif and additional contrasting accents around other two drawers. Canted fluted side posts, dentil molding, all raised on four tapered fluted feet. Restored and ready for use,later professionally painted in layered shades of black and lightly distressed to fit the age and grace of this pair. All nicks, scratches, cracks, distress etc. are reflective of age and use and do not detract from the function nor appeal of this striking pair of chests which may also serve as nightstands.
