Pair of 18th Century Painted Italian Commodes
About the Item
This is a rare pair of genuine early period antique Italian bombe shaped chests of drawers - with gorgeous chinoiserie and flower painted decoration to fronts and both sides with original hardware and all drawers are lined with hand blocked paper ( a delight in itself )
The shape and decoration combine to make exceptional decorative furniture
Condition is good considering the age and that these would by nature have been regularly used
