About the Item
A pair of decorative Gustavian style pine chest of drawers painted in shades of blue, fitting their Swedish origin.
Canted fluted side posts with upper carved diamond medallion and top drawer with diamond pattern repeated. Raised on four tapered fluted feet.
Three functioning drawers with brass pulls.
Restored and ready for use, later professionally painted in layered shades of pale blue, lightly distressed throughout to fit the age and grace of the pair and revealing the natural wood below.
All nicks, scratches, cracks, distress etc. is reflective of age and use and does not detract from the function nor elegant appeal of this striking pair of chests which may also serve as nightstands.
