About the Item
A small oak rococo chest of three drawers with brass key escutcheons. The scalloped edge is carried down through the 3 drawer fronts and bottom apron resulting in an elegant chest all resting on four elongated cabriole legs.
The newer, professionally applied finish is in layered shades of dark pink and russet, creating a lovely finish. See close up photos and view from top of chest for best appreciation of the true color. The paint has been distressed in places to expose the natural wood beneath, enhancing the patina and fitting the age and grace of this accent piece.
The size makes it adaptable to use as a nightstand, side table or simply small chest of drawers.
This chest of 3 drawers has been restored, drawers work using key as pull (2 included) and it is ready to be used and enjoyed.
