Small White Gustavian Chest of Two Drawers, Sweden circa 1820-40
About the Item
This small chest of drawers is quite dramatic thanks to the bow front and fluted carving along the skirt. Rests on tapered feet.
Restored, later professionally painted in layered shades of white and lightly distressed to fit the age and grace of this lovely chest which may also serve well as a nightstand.
Drawers open with two brass pulls each, one key included (old locks do not function).
Any scratches, cracks, dings, or age related separation are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this lovely chest.
