Circa 1850 antique Swedish Gustavian Grey White painted chest of drawers commode in Gustavian style with classic Gustavian carved detail on the drawer fronts and leading edges.
This is the perfect pair of matching bedside drawers and extremely hard to find in this configuration.
They have pyramid feet, carved top edge and a single drawers. The door hides intrenal shelving and has a lovely carved motif on it.
Classic Gustavian styling and the stunning grey white paint patina brings out all the decorative detailing - it has a plain back
The drawers have all the usual marks of age for a piece of this period and the drawer bottoms may contain old marks of use
It features 2 ornate door knobs as you would expect of a piece of this period.
The drawers have been treated against woodworm and structurally sound for daily use (carefully!)
