About the Item
Splendido trittico di provenienza veneta, risalente al periodo Carlo X, databile intorno al 1830. Composto da un comò e due comodini, questo insieme rappresenta un esempio significativo della grande qualità ebanistica raggiunta in Veneto nella prima parte dell’Ottocento. I tre mobili sono impiallacciati in radica di noce di eccezionale qualità, con venature a specchio disposte con raffinatezza, soprattutto nei cassetti superiori e nei pannelli principali. Le colonne angolari sono scanalate e ebanizzate, mentre le gambe tornite a bulbo, con profilo sinuoso a petalo o campana, rappresentano un dettaglio di straordinaria eleganza scultorea. Il comò è composto da tre cassetti, di cui il primo è leggermente più basso e incorniciato da una modanatura evidenziata. I comodini presentano due cassetti e uno sportello inferiore, con disposizione funzionale e bilanciata. Gli interni sono realizzati in noce massiccio, a dimostrazione dell’alta qualità della commessa originaria, destinata probabilmente a un ambiente di pregio.
