This is an ample vintage Georgian style elm or mahogany low commode
Of English taste, early 20th Century
The rectangular top with molded edge over a corresponding case fitted with three shallow short drawers, a stack of two deeper short drawers, all with batwing brass pulls, and two tombstone-paneled cupboard doors opening to shelved interiors. over a shaped base molding and all raised on short cabriole legs ending in pad feet. Unmarked. Gorgeous wood patina.
33-3/4 inches high, 68 inches wide, 18-3/4 inches deep
CONDITION: This low commode has some scratches commensurate to age and wear. It still presents beautifully. This commode could be put to good use in a number of rooms. Please ask about a shipping credit for California, Arizona, and Nevada.
