YKB / Structural Commode from lacquered wood
About the Item
The aesthetics of YKB commode is an authorial interpretation and a bow to the work of Czech architect Jan Kotěra and Slovak architect Dušan Jurkovič. Designed as an authentic detour between decorativism and modernism.
The front part is made of solid ash wood. Body of commode is made of veneered plywood. Upon an request this commode can be made in different sizes and various amount of inner shelves.

JIRI KREJCIRIK
Jiri Krejcirik, product and spatial designer, based in Prague. Creating new forms of decorativism, my work reimagines European cultural heritage through a contemporary lens. Threading the past and the present with my signature visual language, my portfolio encompasses furniture and lighting as well as glass art objects. I pay homage to craftsmanship. All of my products are locally hand-crafted in the Czech Republic, produced in a limited series and displayed only in meticulously chosen galleries and design showrooms in Europe, Australia and the US.
