Regency Commode in Lacquered Wood from the Maison Roméo in Paris
About the Item
Magnificent Regency commode in lacquered wood adorned with inlaid brass fillets and presenting a beautiful ornamentation of gilded and chiseled bronze. Opening with three drawers in three rows, curved front and paneled sides, front uprights with gilt brass fluting, top also inlaid with a brass net and surrounded by a gilt bronze mold.
Superb quality work from the end of the 20th century from Romeo in Paris, one of the last luxury cabinetmaking workshop in Paris.
Beautiful contemporary creation incorporating all the codes of the regency.
Very good condition, slight discoloration in the center of the top.
