  • Antique Rococo Large Chest of Drawers Painted Blue
    Located in Round Top, TX
The strong visual appeal of this lovely large rococo chest of drawers is due to the newer, professionally applied layered blue painted finish that accents the contours of the top and each of the serpentine drawer fronts. Where the paint has been gently scraped, layers of paint and the rich antique oak is revealed adding to the character of the dresser. The four full size drawers with added brass hardware rests on a separate plinth supported by four matching feet and a scalloped, flared apron. The case is sturdy and all drawers function (they do show typical age-related separation along the interior bottoms), two brass pulls are used to open each drawer. Any nicks, scratches, dings and wear are commensurate with age and do not impact the function of this large oak chest...
