English 1850s Painted Wood Four-Drawer Bow Front Chest with Faux Bamboo Motifs
About the Item
An English painted wood four-drawer bow front chest from the mid 19th century with faux bamboo accents and cartouche motifs. Created in England during the 1850s, this chest features a rectangular top with curving front, sitting above four drawers (two small ones over two larger ones), adorned with painted cartouche motifs. Boasting a light toned finish perfectly contrasted by the dark hue of the wooden pulls, the chest is raised on four splayed bracket feet connected to one another through a valanced apron in the front. With its elegant lines and soft finish, this 1850s English chest-of-drawers will be a great addition to any bedroom, living room or foyer.
